Study in Germany
Germany as one of the largest economies in the world is ranked among the top three countries with the largest PhD graduate worldwide. Given the large and strong industries of the country, it is not surprising to say that Germany has many universities with famous education programmes in Engineering.
Although the official language is German, almost all of the top hundred universities in Germany offer PhD programs and positions in English for international students. The main difference between German universities to other European countries is that the PhD is not centrally regulated. That means every institute has its own regulation and rules for PhDs. For instance, some institutions placed a cap of four years for completion of PhD and others do not. That is why it is common that somebody does a PhD for five or six years.
