Overview
Cargill and the Institute of International Education (IIE) are pleased to announce the launch of the 2022-2023 Cargill Global Scholars Program application cycle.
We look forward to receiving more applications for this year’s competition from eligible Cornell University students who:
- Current freshman and sophomores (students who have enough credits to qualify as juniors, but won’t be graduating until sometime between May 2024 and August 2025, are also eligible)
- Citizens or permanent residents of the United States
- Students who demonstrate leadership potential and high academic performance
Ten scholars will be chosen in the United States for this year’s cohort of the Cargill Global Scholars Program.
The scholars will receive:
- Scholarship winners will receive a $2,500.00 scholarship per year for two years
- Be paired with a mentor from Cargill for each of the two years
- Participate in two fully funded leadership seminars where they will get to learn from leaders at Cargill and meet their fellow Cargill Scholars from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Russia, and the U.S.
