The Vice Chancellor’s Illuminate Fellowship seeks research proposals related to Medicine, Health, and Life Sciences, with a particular emphasis on using data and advanced technologies in healthcare to address societal issues. The program encourages multidisciplinary approaches and patient-based investigations in various areas, such as cancer, immunology, epidemiology, and pharmaceutical sciences.

The fellowship also invites proposals in Engineering and Physical Sciences, including net-zero engineering, digital twins, sustainable materials, and intelligent and sustainable infrastructure. Additionally, it encourages research in Psychology, particularly in the areas of behavior change, decision-making, and intervention.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A completed PhD in a relevant subject
  • Normally 2 – 8 years’ post-PhD experience
  • A high quality publication record
