The call for Hungary Scholarships at Central European University (CEU) 2023 is currently open. Obtain a fully funded scholarship to study in Hungary. The Central European University is ranked among the top 100 universities in the world across a range of topic areas in the QS World University Rankings. It provides scholarships for CEU bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. A fully funded scholarship, the CEU Scholarship in Hungary will pay for all of the costs associated with enrolling international students. For the CEU Hungary Scholarships 2023, candidates of any nationality and from any country are eligible to apply. There are 50 distinct departments at CEU. And it’s in Budapest, at a renowned university.

  • CEU Master’s Excellence Scholarship  – 1,000 EUR/month
  • CEU Master’s Distinction Scholarship  – 750 EUR/month
  • CEU Master’s Scholarship  – 500 EUR/month
  • CEU Master’s Partial Scholarship  – 300 EUR/month
  • Up to 100% of the Tuition Fee

CEU PhD Scholarship Coverage:

CEU Doctoral Scholarship: Covering the full cost of tuition, complete with a monthly stipend to assist with housing and living costs as well as health insurance.

  • Doctoral Stipend – 1,680 EUR/per month
  • Housing: Doctoral students receive a monthly stipend to help with housing and living expenses. Each student is responsible for securing accommodation for themselves.

Eligibility Criteria for Master’s Programmes:

Applicants must have a first degree (bachelor’s or equivalent undergraduate degree) from a recognized university or institution of higher education, or provide documentation indicating that they will earn such a first degree before enrollment in a CEU master’s program.

Students enrolled in a master’s program at CEU must not be simultaneously enrolled in another higher education institution, unless they provide official documentation about having obtained a leave of absence from the other institution for the entire duration of their studies at CEU. Admitted students are required, if applicable, to indicate enrollment at another institution in the matriculation form at the beginning of their studies at CEU.

Eligibility Criteria for Doctoral Programmes:

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a master’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field from a recognized university or institution of higher education, or provide documentation indicating that they will earn such a degree before enrollment in a CEU doctoral course of study. Those students holding a five-year master’s degree are not required to have a bachelor’s.
